Have you ever listened to an album or a song that you enjoyed a lot but you couldn't find the exact words to communicate your experience with? Well, it happens to me a lot, but luckily in this case I believe that I can express my feelings with a single sentence: I bought this album halfway through the second track.

I could easily end the review here and just tell you to do yourself a favour and go to listen to the album yourself, but bear with me a bit longer.

This album carries the listener onto a sonic merry-go-round, and when the horses start their race there is no going back. We are constantly bounced back and forth between heavy acid industrial sounds, lushy synths, hi-tech glitches, loops that seem to have time-travelled straight from the 80s, groovy basslines...

Doesn't that sound inviting? Well, to someone maybe not, especially because when you mix a lot of things toghethet, the final sum risks to appear messy and confusing. However, in this album there is a perfect equilibrium between all the elements, which support each other without clashing and contribute equally to the success of this digital kaleidoscope.

In my opinion the album works best when listened from start to finish as a single block, but if I have to choose tracks that stood out to me I'd definitely point to False East (I loved the combination of glitchy sounds used for catchy melodies all through the piece) and A Digital Resemblance (which answers the question "What if Toto was an industrial band?").

That's all, now excuse me while I go dig deeper into this artist's catalog.
