Not really my kind of music and not something I would normally listen to (so if this comes off as a little short, that's why), but it is pretty pleasant and the male singer/rapper/spoken word…ist does have a nice voice—and the female backup singers definitely help too. Skill identified. Lyrics seem a bit inconsequential, but also generic enough to work in any setting for setting a mood. If soul music is something you listen to and appreciate, you could probably appreciate this too.
If it's meant to have a higher purpose, I'd say it's to save the world two people at a time. I'm getting serious "something you might put on in the background when having your lady-friend over" vibes. Sophisticated. Sensual. The artist himself looks the part too. :)
Track #2 was my favourite (and I… uhm… "keep crawling back for more" :) because it dares to blend in a bit of something a little more "risqué" or trippy and the vocals, playing more with different rhythms, had more of a forward drive together with the instrumentals. That sort of "wob-wob" bass was a nice addition too. Otherwise, mostly playing it safe with standard beats (for example in track #3). Nothing too innovative going on, but it works, and I had no problem listening to the full album without getting bored. The vocals add a natural source of variation.
Side-note: I wish I could have read the lyrics, but they weren't made available on bandcamp, so now I guess I'm kind of downplaying them instead. The lyrics might deserve more cred than I'm giving them (although setting a sensual mood is honestly not to be scoffed at).
Side-side-note: I also briefly listened to The Echoes of a Sunday Soul, which this release is apparently a remix of—or, rather (to quote the description), "never before heard revisions of" for the true fans, I'm guessing. That one is more of the same (described as "Neo-Soul").
