Hello!
This site has been chugging along for a few months now and to be honest it's already been considerably more successful than I ever imagined. I really cannot express how grateful I am to everyone who has visited the site, submitting a release for review, written a review, joined the Discord, or shared the site with other people. It's been such a joy to come to the site and to see a new review posted, to go away for a week and to still have a constant stream of stuff to read and listen to without personally touching the site at all. I'm particularly grateful to everyone who joined the Discord and has helped to develop a small community around the site, too. If you're not on the Discord, I'd really recommend it, everyone there is so lovely!
All of that has given me confidence that I have created something of value, and I want to nurture that without screwing up the balance. In part that means looking into monetisation options, specifically subscriptions, but it also means developing features that will make the site better for everyone and to increase its reach.
I want to reassure anyone who squirmed when they read the word "monetisation" that I would rather lose money on this site than compromise its ethos. I mean it when I say that users will never receive more or better coverage by paying for it, that's a core principle of the site and I have no intention of changing it.
So with all that in mind, I've put together a survey to get your feedback! I'd love it if you could spend a couple minutes filling it out.
