Pleasant, but not very engaging.
Beginning with what I like, these are demos that would be nice to play in the background ambience of your day while lazing around in your bedroom, doing chores around the house, going out for a coffee, that kind of thing. It's interesting in that the vocals are fairly distinctive and unique to this artist alone in my opinion, as well as the style they play. It's got a grounded, kind of pleasant feel to it. I also think it's cool how shakers are used as the percussion, and it's clearly well crafted folk indie with some real, obvious effort put in.
However, I personally didn't find it very engaging or grabbing. There's not too many parts besides possibly the first song, 'Take My Heart (beat)', that really makes you want to immerse into the song. I think it might just be the overall harmonics just not linking up right to really give you that sense of entering a world, everything feels a bit disconnected. The part I really liked in that first song was the bended acoustic guitar notes that sounded really cool, but when everything else kicks in it feels a bit mushed together and gets a little old after a while, which seems to runs for the rest of the project.
Nothing is bad by any means, but don't expect anything here to knock your socks off. For just four demos, it's maybe worth a listen, moreso again, if you're into inoffensive indie folk.
I'd give it a 5 out of 10.
