We might be the only life cover art

This release contains two different version of the same track. We start with the Original Mix, a very chill techno tune with a quite interesting sound, most of the synths and pads have a "watery" feeling that makes us feel like we are accompanying the puff fish of the cover art to a sub-marine rave party. Here and there the atosphere is enriched by high-pitched screechy sounds, think of R2-D2 after a couple of drinks, which add variety and colour to the track.

The Offbeat version of "We might be the only life" differs from the original mix only in the percussions pattern. This formally small change has actually a deep impact on the perception of the track, which now sounds more mysterious and in some ways slightly darker. It feels like we are dancing our way out of a labyrinth on the bottom of the ocean, there is more uncertainty and tension.

Both tracks work very well, and make you want to re-listen them and get lost in the oceanic dance floor that the artist has summoned. I can definitely see myself going back to either version depending on the mood.

I recommend this release even for those who are not into techno, it's an easy listening experience that might increase your appreciation for the genre.
