Omni Plus Ultra is an folk rock epic by Sivko-Burko.

The album begins by immersing you into a regious ritual. The lyrics are hauntingly chanted by an echoing choir before the track transitions into psychodelic rock.

The album as a whole tells a story with poetic lyricism. For example, the lyrics

Twisted chasms to / crystal caverns / where sages dwell

from track four, Vile Deceiver , and

Following down, the feinted flares of phosphorus / Perilous, the path below, ferry us, sins in tow

from track seven, The Middle Path, paint an image of a journey though a mythical land.

The simple rhythmic guitar and metal percussion of track eight give me the impression of a bard regaling the tale within a tavern.

Track three, Get Thee Beyond, is a stylistic departure from the album with ethereal vocals alternating with rap. The rapped lyrics meld well with the album's poetic folk style. The delivery is clean and the wordplay is eloquent while contributing to the epic.

A vision of utopia, blurry from myopia the promised cornucopia is marred by xenophobia

While not every track felt as memorable, the album kept my interest with its mix of different styles.

I feel like this album can be enjoyed the same way I enjoy audiobooks when I'm busy with my hands but not with my head.
