Music released under "Thomas J" is my old stuff before I took on the God Ribbon name. I wanted to draw a line beneath this set of work and make stuff that felt more representative of where I'm at now, but there's a lot that I find endearing about this older stuff. It's a bit more naive, at times quite cringey, but I think there's also an earnestness to it that's hard to recapture now.
